Following a review of the NAECI in 2018, a two-year agreement was successfully concluded and NJC 13 (18) provides full details on the new provisions and rate and quota increases for the period 2019-2020. The initial details of the purchase of brochures as well as the postage and packaging costs are as follows: the NAECI is a working agreement at the national level, which results from the collective bargaining process between the parties. Together, the signatory parties form the National Joint Council (NJC), which oversees the work of naECI. The NJC Secretariat coordinates negotiations between the parties to review rates of pay and other aspects of the agreement. The membership structure and constitution of the NJCECI provide the basis for a single table agreement and set the standards that establish authority for good practice. The continuous improvement of standards has had a positive impact on the safety and well-being of workers. and it continues to have a great influence on the performance of the mechanical engineering industry. The NAECI 2019 – 2020 is available in free PDF (see point below) and available as a booklet for purchase. www.njceci.org.uk/download/naeci-2019-2020-v3 The 2019 – 2020 Hardcopy Booklet is also available and information on costs, postage, packaging and ordering is listed below.

NAECI 2019 – 2020 brochures will be published in Grade 2, unless first class is specifically requested. You can read more about the agreement under these links: If the NAECI has not been formally accepted for all technical construction activities at a given site, only one contractor can register their number of employees with NJC through the NAECI registration process and then use the NAECI. At the end of 2019, the NJC agreed on a recommendation of the Working Group on the Extension of NAECI 3.1(b) regarding the efficient use of working time. The PDF version of naECI 2019-2020 has been updated to include this change and is available for download in v3. An NJC Guidance note that complements this new and modified section is available here for download. NJC press releases are regularly issued to provide information on new steps in the NAECI revision, new NAECI tariff recommendations and important industry news. You will find them in our document archive. .

. The success of the national agreement is centered on a highly effective and widely respected procedure for preventing and resolving problems at the site level. If, exceptionally, no solution is found at the site level, it is possible to quickly resort to the national level to take a final and binding decision. NAECI`s main objective is to continue to build a modern, robust and “functional” national labour relations structure: in 2006, the Engineering Construction Industry Association (ECIA) selected Welplan as its preferred provider of social benefits for employees in the construction industry. The sector`s National Agreement (NAECI) defines the social benefits to which employees are entitled, summarized below:. You can pay by electronic bank transfer or BY BACs (as correct) by indicating the reference “NAECI Book”: the services granted under the ECI Welfare Benefits Scheme provided by Welplan are fully compliant with the requirements of the NAECI. These unions formed the National Engineering Construction Committee (NECC), which won a single union vote. Naeci 2019-2020 v3 also contains an update of NAECI 10.3.1 (c) to calculate Euroleave vacation pay following an amendment to the law of 6 April 2020. NjC Guidance Note (18)01 has also been updated to reflect this and is available here for download. The National Agreement for Engineering and the Construction Industry 2019-2020, which has over 140 pages of relevant information for all employees in the sector: The National Agreement for the Engineering Construction Industry (NAECI) establishes comprehensive terms and conditions of employment for engineering workers paid by the hour for basic engineering projects, repair and maintenance sites as well as events/outings throughout the UK. .
